A qualitative composition of BIOGON® gas mixtures is ensured by special modern technology of their production and control. Linde Gas Rus OJSC guarantees high quality, gas mixture stability and homogeneity within one year period.
Mixture production is monitored at all the stages beginning from inspecting raw material and up to preparation of cylinders before each inflation.
Linde Gas Rus has a separate stock of cylinders for BIOGON food industry gases. All containers undergo strict control, double vacuum treatment and nitrogen flushing before inflation.

BIOGON gas mixtures were officially registered with RAMN Food Research Institute (Opinion No. 72/E-773/and-04 of 18.03.2004) and assigned food additive codes in compliance with the requirements of SanPiN 2.3.2. 1078 –01 “Hygiene requirements for safety and nutrition value in foodstuffs” and SanPiN 2.3.2. 1293-03 “Hygiene requirements for use of food additives in foodstuffs” Е290 – for carbon dioxide, Е941 – for nitrogen and Е 948 – for oxygen.

Cryogenic Gases for Freezing and Cooling
Linde Gas produces cryogenic gases of food quality used for food freezing and cooling.
Liquid nitrogen is colorless, tasteless and odorless incombustible gas. Under atmospheric pressure liquid nitrogen has a temperature of -196°C, is obtained from air (78 % N2), stored and transported in separate containers, and is neutral.
Liquid carbon dioxide is a colorless gas with slightly sour taste, incombustible, easily dissolved in water. It is stored liquefied under pressure. Under atmospheric pressure it is turned into snow and gas in equal proportions at -78°C, produced by chemical industry or from natural sources, stored in containers under pressure at -20°C.
